The Trans Pacific Partnership (TPP) "trade" Agreement consists of twelve Countries. They are: The United States, Australia, Brunei Darussalam, Canada, Chile, Japan, Malaysia, Mexico, New Zealand, Peru, Singapore, and Vietnam. China is not included, "though sources told CNBC that's likely to change." (Source: CNBC News, March 20, 2015)

"The Trans-Pacific Partnership (TPP) isn't a trade agreement: It’s a trade, environment, labor, human-rights, and digital- copyrights agreement, among other things. (Source: National Review, April 20, 2015)

How will the Trans-Pacific Partnership (TPP) affect jobs in the United States? "Nearly five million American manufacturing jobs – one out of every four – have been lost since implementation of the North American Free Trade Agreement (NAFTA) and the World Trade Organization (WTO)." (Source: http://www.exposethetpp.org/TPPImpacts_OffshoringUSJobs. html

The United States Senate and House of Representatives have passed "Fast Track" for the Trans-Pacific Partnership (TPP). This legislation authorizes "Fast Track" for six years.

Therefore, Congress has authorized "Fast Track" for six years without knowing who the next President will be OR what "trade" agreement(s) are being or will be negotiated during that time.

"Fast Track" for "trade" agreements means:

1. The President presents the "trade" agreement to Congress for an up or down vote.

2. There is NO public hearing on the "trade" agreement.

3. The Senate CANNOT filibuster the "trade" agreement.

4. The "trade" agreement CANNOT be amended.

5. Only a limited amount of time is allow for debate on the "trade" agreement. (Sources: (1) http://petitions.moveon.org/sign/congress- dont-renew-fast (2) CNN, May 22, 2015)

The Trans-Pacific Partnership (TPP) is "classified." Neither the press nor the public can see the official TPP agreement as it now is. For a United States Senator or Member of the House of Representatives "who wants to study the draft TPP language, it has been made available in the basement of the Capitol, inside a secure, soundproof room. There, lawmakers surrender their cellphones and other mobile devices. Any notes taken inside the room must be left in the room." (Source: NPR, May 14, 2015)

National Public Radio did a survey to find out how many Members of Congress read the draft TPP. Their conclusion "A Trade Deal Read In Secret By Only A Few (Or Maybe None)." (Since this survey there are at least two Senators who did read the draft TPP.) (Source: NPR, May 14, 2015)

The following County and Cities have passed Resolutions to make their County and Cities a Trans Pacific Partnership Free Zone (TPP-Free Zone): New York City; Dane County, Wisconsin; Berkeley, California; Richmond, California. Oak Park, Illinois (population 52,000) voted 73.63% in a Referendum to be a TPP-Free Zone. (Sources: (1) Sierra Club, April 30, 2015; (2) www.OakPark.com, November 7, 2014)

The reasons a Town/City and State can become a Trans Pacific Partnership Free Zone (TPP-Free Zone) are as follows:

1. States Rights and the 10th Amendment to the United States Constitution.

2. By legalizing the recreational use of marijuana the State of Colorado is right NOW directly violating Federal Law.

3. By legalizing the recreational use of marijuana the State of Washington is right NOW directly violating Federal Law.

4. The "right of the people to keep and bear Arms" is included in the 2nd Amendment to the United States Constitution. In numerous places in the United States there are Gun-Free Zones. (Source: http://bearingarms. com/safe-haven-gun-free-zones-america/

5. "Sanctuary city is a term given to a city in the United States or Canada that follows certain practices that protect Illegal immigration." There are over one hundred (100) Cities in the United States that are "Sanctuary Cities." (Sources: (1) https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/ Sanctuary_city (2) www.apsanlaw.com/law-246.List-of- Sanctuary-cities.html?

We support Cities and States passing Resolutions to officially be Trans Pacific Partnership Free Zones (TPP- Free Zones).

The Trans Pacific Partnership (TPP) is a "living statement." Therefore it can be changed or amended. (Source: Global Research, May 18, 2015)

We support Cities and States passing Resolutions to officially be Trans Pacific Partnership Free Zones (TPP- Free Zones) UNTIL a Section or Sections of the Trans Pacific Partnership (TPP) are changed and/or amended.

We further support Congress Officially recognizing every City and State Resolution regarding Trans Pacific Partnership Free Zones.
