It is time for the voters of Wisconsin to directly decide the right of Collective Bargaining for Public Employees.

In an Ohio Statewide Referendum on November 8. 2011 the voters decided that Collective Bargaining is a right of Public Employees by a margin of 61% to 39%.

The Wisconsin State Constitution does allow for Statewide Advisory Referendums, the last such Referendum occurred on Election Day November 2, 2010.

Considering the results from Ohio there will be opposition to a Statewide Advisory Referendum on the right of Collective Bargaining for Public Employees. The question to those who oppose a Direct Vote is: Do they simply not believe in Democracy?

A Statewide Advisory Referendum can be turned into a Binding Referendum by putting on the record EVERY State Representative and State Senator on whether they will abide by the will of the people. For the few who will say NO, they will NOT abide by the will of the people, let that be the campaign issue for the next Election.
